Mahalo Grams & Gratitude Day
Gratitude Day was an opportunity to have handwritten messages "of praise, approval or appreciation" delivered to friends. Shown below are Mahalo Grams from each year (click to enlarge).
I also saved the buttons but 1989 has gone missing.
OH MY GOSH! I love that you kept that Mahalo Gram from me. I kept all of mine, too. (Just so you don't think you're too crazy). I think it's just wonderful that you have made this site. I love it! Liana Bond (Cosgrove)
In anticipation of our 20-yr reunion, I asked my folks to mail the boxes of stuff I saved from Punahou so I could share it with all of you. In this archive are some of the things I feel are "shared memories," meaning they were events we were all exposed to and weren't exclusive to a particular clique.
I encourage you to leave comments, share your experiences and post any other mementos I wasn't able to provide.
Want to see that poem you wrote for Ka Wai Ola or an article about you in Ka Punahou? Let me know and I'll see if I have it. Also if you ever sent me a card, an invitation or wrote me a note (no matter how insignificant), I probably still have it. Seriously.
